Hi Poolshark Divisional Families -

Here we go.  Lots of info and helpful links.

#1) heat sheets & handwriters are coming & will be released probably Sun night or Monday AM.  These will NOT be sold at Divisionals, and I think they are NOT using Swimtopia, so please print or keep e-copy handy for yourself on Wednesday.  

#2) LINK - seating sections - swimmers, coaches not on deck, parent helpers - we are in section 203 (kind of between the diving well & the girls pool).  We have the entire section. Parents that are NOT volunteering, are not supposed to sit here.  Parents are to sit sections 103 - 108 & 204 - 209, first come first serve.  We will be racing in two boys (girls pool & boys pool) so I imagine our Poolshark parents will be spread out amongst two sections but hopefully still together in those two bunches.    

#3) LINK - prepaid parking, ~ $13, for the lot right next to the pool - this sometimes sells out and you cannot purchase day of.  

#4) LINK - we need 24 Poolshark parents to help volunteer - this is often a great way to see your child swim up and close.  Most of the volunteer roles I have split in half so parents can share first 2 hours, second 2 hours, or just coordinate together however is best for your pair (for ex, making sure you trade off when you need to watch your child race or give them a hug,etc).  

#5) LINK - psyche sheets (these are NOT the heat sheets) - Please be thoughtful about showing this to your child or not - some kids are motivated to see how they are ranked and some kids will get extra nervous.  Please share info as you best see.  The coaches will NOT be sharing this with kids at practice unless they are a teenager and they have asked.  Here is the LINK to the entry list (this says all the kids in our Session and the races they are swimming).  

#6) Warmup & Building Entry times - all swimmers are required to enter the building WITH Coach Beth.  Our assigned entry time is 8:30 sharp for a 9 am warmup.  Your child must be at pool in front of building by 8:20 so we can count all 87 kids.  Be on time or early.  I'll be there no later than 8 am for the early arrivers.  Parents are welcome to enter the building from 7:30 and beyond and do not have to enter with the team.  

#7) Post Divisionals Lunch - Grindhouse Decatur @ 1:30 ish - everyone is welcome & encouraged to join and share a meal together
