Venetian Poolsharks - suit fitting this Sunday 2 pm & other key dates

Good afternoon Poolshark families -

We are just under 3 weeks away from the start of 2023 Poolshark season! A more detailed email about the season will be sent early next week. This email is all about KEY DATES so families can start setting up their calendars.

First Important Date is this Sunday April 16, 2 - 3 pm

Team Suit Fitting - LINK to our merchandise site - Poolshark team suits are in 2 year rotations - we will be racing in the same suit as last season as we are in Year 2. If your child has not outgrown their suit, they are welcome to race in this again. Team suit is not required and about 80% of the team does wear the team suit.

When: Sunday April 12, 2 - 3 pm

Where: Decatur First United Methodist Church GYM, 300 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Decatur, GA 30030

Who: all Poolsharks are encouraged to stop by - it is very helpful to try swimsuits on so you make sure the fit is just right. Most sizes will be available to purchase on site and bring home. Reddiset is our equipment outfitter - they may have a few more materials available for purchase (goggles, caps) but this year will focus on swimsuits.

*Sunday April 23, 7:30 - 8 pm VIRTUAL ZOOM - required parent meeting (swimmers are welcome to join) - link will be shared a few days beforehand.

*Monday May 1st - first day of season

*Tues May 16 - teen bingo night (6:45 - 7:45 pm)

*Tues May 23 - Time Trials

*Wed May 24 (6:30 - 8 pm) - USA 2021 Olympian Pro Clinic by Nic Fink - limited spots & signup fee

*Mon May 29 Memorial Day Crack of Dawn practice 6-9 am

*Tuesday May 30 - Dual Meet 1 away vs Leafmore

*Tues June 6 - Dual Meet 2 home vs Echo Ridge

*Tues June 13 - Dual Meet 3 home vs Decatur

*Tues June 20 - Dual Meet 4 away vs Twin Lakes

*Mon June 26 - Dual Meet 5 home vs Lake Claire
