Volunteer Sign-Ups are OPEN 🙂
Good evening Venetian Swim Team families,
We’re so excited for our meets to get going — Go Poolsharks! This email includes everything you need to know as a parent volunteer, so please take a moment to read through to the end.
Our team truly runs on parent volunteers — you are essential to the success of the season and a big part of what makes our meets so fun. Each home meet requires about 75 volunteers and each away meet around 50. Yes, you read that right! If we don't have enough parent volunteers, we can not run a successful and efficient meet. There are a variety of roles available, so you can find one that fits your interests and schedule, even during a busy summer.
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the SwimTopia website. It includes job descriptions and, most importantly, volunteer start times. Some positions begin as early as 2:30 p.m., while others start mid-way through or even after the meet. Action items:- Click on Meet Entry for your swimmer --- that's the RSVP to declare yes/or no (click on Edit at the bottom)
- Time trial (May 19th) volunteer sign ups are OPEN. Click on JOB SIGNUP. If you're unsure about volunteering for a specific role, this is a good meet to try something out — it is shorter and there are less people (just Poolsharks!)
- JOB SIGNUP is also open for all remaining meets--- sign up in advance if you know what you want to do! And thank you!!
